The blue whale is the world's largest marine mammal with lengths between 24-30 meters. It weighs nearly 200 tons, almost the weight of 33 elephants.

In the beginning of the twentieth century, blue whales were massively killed and almost extinct because of commercial whaling. After the implementation of the Convention on the Prohibition of Commercial Whaling in 1986, although the number is slowly restored, it is still in the category of endangered species today. Marine pollution, climate change, the reduction of krill, and ship threats are great challenges for the survival of blue whales.

Designer Steve Chan looks through this blue whale design, so that more friends could know of this species on earth that survived and evolved among 50 million years of great creatures.
